Care of Cast Stone Bird Baths

As soon as a freeze is predicted, it is recommended your bird bath be brought inside.  The reason being freezing water may potentially expand and crack or weaken your bath or pedestal.  If moving it inside is not an option, it is recommended that the base be lifted off the ground and placed on 4 X 4 planking.  The bowl should be inverted, or at the very least covered.  Great beauty takes a little effort.
